Hello, I have a electribe EMX1 on layaway untill I recieve some feed back. Has anyone had expierence with these 2?? How do they jive together. Does anyone suggest a better match up?? Many thanks

I use a ESX1 together with a Radias. A dream team! You should also prefer the ESX, so you can use your own samples. BTW, the ESX fits perfectly on the Radias accessory shelf. |

Depends on what you already have besides the Radias. I'd get a computer first, then sequencing/DAW software, then a USB/Fireware audio I/O box, then soft synths, before getting any more synth hardware. The EMX is a particularly bad combo for the Radias, in my opinion, because it has the same kind of synth engine instead of a different kind.
With the Radias you've got VA synthesis well covered. Software will open up many more options that you don't have with the Radias alone. Obviously you have a computer to post to this forum, however I'm referring to a computer that is suitable as music production workstation to handle the DAW and Softsynth processing load, which may or not be the case with whatever you have now. |
