My pK knobs seem to be sending CC values in steps of 2 - 3. Is this how they work? This makes them practically useless! Please tell me I'm missing something here and you can get them to send the full range of 1 - 127 without skipping values. |

The response I received from korg was...
"Your findings are indeed somewhat characteristic of the unit. The knobs on the padKontrol will have different resolutions depending on the speed and manner which you turn them. That is to say, the slower you turn them, the more control you will have over the resolution. That being said, again your findings aren’t out of line with our own tests with the product. We certainly appreciate your comments and I have passed them along to the appropriate department. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate. Thank you for your support of Korg."
I find that no matter how slow or fast I move the knobs the values jump in groups of 4. I tested it with a midi analysis program as well. Same results. Damnit...This thing was my one perfect possesion! |

Definately annoying. Just realized this he other day when i went to reord some automation in Live and it sounded real "stepped". Looked at the automation and sure enough, it looked like a staircase. What a waste of good knobs! _________________ www.trackteamaudio.com |
