Hi
Just update my M3 to 1.1.1, 1 of the doc said:
2. EXB-RADIAS support
plus enhanced virtual patch functionality
This M3 Version 1.1 O.S. update (or higher) is required
in order to use the EXB-RADIAS MMT Synthesis
Option. In addition, the EXB-RADIAS must be at
version 2.0 or later.
* If the start-up display does not indicate EXBRADIAS
system software version “EXB-RADIAS
(V2.0)” or later, please download and install the
latest system software - available free of charge from
the Korg website (http://www.korg.com).
To enhance the EXB-RADIAS operation, twenty-seven
virtual patch destination parameters have been added.
This allows you to use a controller or EG/LFO to
produce even more versatile modulation.
For details, refer to “EXB-RADIAS owner’s manual”
(page 2Cool.

My M3 with radias card show : system 1.1.1 but the Radias is 1.0
I tried to find a radias update but no luck
Anybody know where to get and how to update the Radias?
Thanks
Sonny

The question is then, when will the OS version2 be available for the EXB-RADIAS?
BTW, will the Sound Editing Software for the RADIAS also be available for the EXB-RADIAS in the future?

Anybody from Korg, can you shed some light on this please.

Found it Smile
http://www.korg.co.jp/Support/Download/Update/EXB-RADIAS/win.html

Update procedure is similar to the M3 update:
1. Copy M3SYS folder to USB-Stick
2. On the M3, go to global mode and select the update system software command from the menu

Still open question:
Is the RADIAS Sound Editing Software also available/usable for the EXB-RADIAS?

I have to say that i think KORG is a little bit embarrassing.
I buy a bunch of pieces for several thousand dollars and cant even get a easy and distinct download- and updatepage.

Yes, version 1.11 is on their downloadpage, but i cant find updates required for EXB-RADIAS on that same page. Dont even know where to find it. Someone posted a japaneese link, but what the heck.... is that what im supposed to get for my $ ?

Actually.... EXB-RADIAS isnt even on their accessories-page !

Maybe i can use the v2 update for the RADIAS RACK, but i dont know that. Where is that information easy to get for me as a consumer?

Oh, forgot to mention... one of the downloads (actually the v1.11) is linked on korg.com, but the file itself is missing.

Shape up !

/K

So basically the functionality of EXB-RADIAS is not controlled by the OS of the M3. It has its own system software.

That's interesting and quite cool. Smile The functionality of the MOSS expansion for Triton was always set and never got upgraded.
