We have been getting lot's of e-mail from Proto Rock customers who are interested in how we got our sample loops to work with the M3's drum track so we've put together a tutorial on exactly how it's done.

You can find it here....

If you need any more info just let me know.

LOL... how about a little credit to Korg USA for helping to teach you some of this?

Rolling Eyes

I would still offer one other tweak to your tutorial - if you want to be able to slow down a sliced loop I WOULD suggest experimenting with the Time Stretch parameter during the Slice operation. While the tolerance is somewhat limited, you can get somewhere around 10-20 BPM out of this function before you either start to hear space between the slice, or you affect the audio quality of the loop. But it's a valuable tool and worth exploring.

Congrats on the collection and thanks for supporting the M3!!

best regards,

Jerry

OK...OK....Respect to the masters! In fact, I had Jack on the phone for about an hour while he walked be though this. Product support at it's best.

Sounds good. I'll tweak it. Yeah, I'm glad I wrote all this down. Now six months from now when I forgot how it's done I can read it to refresh my memory! Laughing
