i want to be able to connect my triton to reason. i have a m-audio midi-usb interface, which is properly installed, and recognized by reason on the hardware interface as 'In USB Midi 1x1.'

i guess my question is how or which setting should i use on the triton to use it as a controller to send midi information to reason? or is it always transmitting midi information as it is playing and the probabem is most likely in reason?

as it is now, nothing i do on the keyboard registers anything on reason's interface.

any help would be greatly appreciated!! even any general info about midi connectivity with the triton. thanks!!

Going by memory, the way I did it was to install the Korg Triton USB MIDI, then connect and power on the Triton, then in Reason go into Preferences>Advanced MIDI, and in the drop down select the Korg USB MIDI.
I think because you are selecting the M-Audio MIDI may be why it's not seeing the Korg as a controller.
Hope that helps.
