i'd like to know if there is a visual indication of tempo on the padkontrol. if there isn't, is there is a way to get reason or the like to send that info to the PK either on the led display or one of the pads and how would one go about doing so? |

If you wanted to have the pK display Reason’s tempo, you’d have to hack into Native Mode and find a suitable control surface to emulate (like the TranzPort or Mackie). That requires some pretty deep knowledge about MIDI (specifically SysEx). I have this set up for Live, haven’t attempted Reason yet…but that’s next on my list.

awesome thanks for the reply. i'd give you my first born for a reason version. been visiting kontrolfreqs and watching all your vids like crazy in anticipation of my PKs arrival for weeks. you guys are extremely helpful, thanks again. |
