Also , Check out the 12AX7 EH GOLD tubes !!!
U'd have to get a pro to do it so be safe , but i'm sure they would work in the MX .

I always wondered if we could get better tubes .....

Sorry but check out ALL the tubes , and find out if they are compatible with the MX . I seems as though all the pins have the same config , except performance spec varies from tube to tube .

WORD OF WARNING!!!!! be very very very gentle and use a really thin tool to evenly pull them off their shaft.... if you don't you will have the famous electribe problem arrise called knob jitters.... this means when you turn a knob instead of smoothly modulating something it will skip and jump arround randomly while you do so.... this happened to my emx on one knob...

Ive got it .
done a bit of shopping around , and have managed to put together a knobs kit that is as close to mine as i can find .

The downside is that if i were to sell the kits i could'nt sell them as cheap as i'd like as they cost about £13 - £15 to make depending whether it 4 MX or SX . I'd happily sell them for cost price tho as i only want to help , not make money . All i'd reqiure would be cost of postage on top of kit.

so far Dbx have not replied to me about replacement knobs , but i have found similar ( and familier to some people ) ones that are the same as the 3 on the top left of my Mx ( master/tube/mic ) . They are rubber and have a great feel and allow good control , and they fit all pots .

So...

I can supply : BLack rubbers for tweakers
Black dials for Synth/fx selector
Silver & black pattern selectror knob

All i need is a fader head and thats it . i'll find one .

If u would be interested in knobs seen in my "customized" thread , and dont mind paying then let me know . I assure u that the feel allows greater control . Mx/Sx owners check out my machine and decide whether u think u could benefit from better control .

I'll post pics of kits asap Very Happy
