Hello all!
I was looking into buying microKontrol, but some stores say it's discontinued (no wonder keeping in mind it's 5 years old or so). However, it was and is a great bargain with it's pads, sliders and lots of bundled software. Does anyone know if Korg has a replacement in the works?
Thanks a lot,
Artemiy. |

Hi Artemio,
Welcome to the forum ! I am sure many Roland owners will know your name
I haven't heard of any news about an mK replacement and I guess we probably won't hear anything until Winter NAMM in Jan '08.

I want basically the same form factor (the mini keyboard is the point of the whole thing) but better pad, at least the quality of padKontrol and 2 wheels from microKorg instead of joystick, LCD could expand to 10 char - 16 char, please use a bit better LCD contrast pod, better USB jack location...and much much much much more flexability in programming (even native mode!), then I will definitely buy another one.
BTW, if microKorg implements USB power, I'd certainly buy it as well... |
