|
|
I sequence an external sound module(Novation Bassstation) from the keyboard part on the ESX. When I turn off the sample from that part on the ESX and stop the pattern, the note continues to sound on the module. For now I'm just leaving the ESX sample on and routing the sound out to the 3/4 outs that are not connected to anything. I want to utilize my 3/4 outs, so I need to figure something out. Any ideas?

well first of all one thing I'll recommend is to utilise the ESX controlls to control the novation, do this in midi utility -> cc number..... then leave the volume control alone and turn it all the way down for all the patterns for that part.... or just use no sample (first in the list of sample is no sample).... hope that helps. |

That's what I'm doing and when I stop the pattern the note doesn't stop on the Bassstation. It triggers fine when I use sample off, but it just doesn't stop with the pattern. |

For some reason it's working now. I'll experiment and see what happens. Thanks |

When I posted the thread, I was going off from memory and it may have actually been the Microkorg that continued to sound when I stopped the ESX. I'm thinking that because the Basstation seems to be working fine in that setup now. |
