Are there any Triton teachers in the Bay Area? I was wondering if there were any people in the Bay who are interested in getting together to help people learn how to use the Triton.

I'm totally new to it and really need some help to get going.

Hi!

well, there are triton tutorial video guide available to buy from the net...
and, of course, we're here if you need help.
I think you don't really need a teacher near you, try try and try, don't be afraid to try!!

regards

Thanks Diego!

I have the Triton Extreme and really want to learn it BAAAAAD!!!!!!

Right now I feel very overwhelmed and am having a hard time understanding it all. I'll get it with time considering I plan on investing a lot of time reading, re-reading the guide.

Do you have a Triton?

Here is what I really want to do with it, let me know if you have any advice on how I can reach my goal.

I obviously want to learn all the features and I eventually will. but for no here is my goal.

I will be useing it live with my band.
I will be recording sequences to play live with my band.
I'll be running an individual line out to my drummer with a metranome track.

So far I understand the sequencer and how to create songs.

I still need to learn about:
cuelists
media mode (saving and loading)
I need to fully understand how the different save modes work and which one I need to use

Where can I find threads on Cuelists and media mode?
Do you have any links?

Thanks.

Hi!

I've had a Trinity and a Triton Studio, but now (as you can see from my signature), I don't have any more Korg gear ( Crying or Very sad ).
BTW, what I should suggest you is to use the Triton section of the forum, there are a lot of very smart people ready to help you out. I tried to do the same you want in the past, but I ended up that it was too much long to program everything into the sequencer, so I'm going live with the Mac and the Traveler (which is far more easy).
I'm sure you can reach every goal you want, because the Triton is a great machine, and if I decided to go with another way, it doesn't mean that's THE way.

Last but not least, I'm sure you know that in a discussion forum a lot of things have been already covered, so try to do a search first, and see what you can learn from previous problems from other users.
And if you can, do precise question, and not things like "I want the perfect piano sound, how can I obtain that?"

Just my two cents,
regards
