If it was me i would look at the korg nautilus 73. Its over budget but korg do refurbished / guaranteed ones which may be in budget.

Yes. Run you condenser mic to a mixer that provides phantom power. Most do. Take the mixer output to the synth audio in.

Hi,

Intermittent faults are really tricky to track down. Possibly caused by a faulty connection. Does it happen with headphones. Have you tried using different cables?
