I've paid for third-party patches for several of my synths over the years,
and I appreciate the work which goes into creating musically useful stuff that
I never could have created on my own.

Holy crow....saving the whole thing as a .pcg file to an SD card.
What a concept! Shocked

I guess it really *could* be that simple....when one remembers that
it isn't 1992 anymore!!!

Thanks ...

The only mods I've made to my shiny new M-50 so far is a damper pedal
polarity change and I've loaded the "Vintage Keys" into the appropriate program
bank, using the M-50 editor. I'm about ...

My bad: should have made myself more clear. What I'm hoping that the purchase of an M-50 will make possible is setting up my own custom tweaked patches and splits on the home keyboard, and then, if th ...

Thinking of purchasing an M-50. I know it uses SD cards - but am wondering if it is possible to save customized split/layer/patch edit setups
on the SD card and load them into a rented board when doi ...

I've used both extensively, both in live performance and noodling around the home studio. Both are marvelously portable lots-of-bang-for the-buck keyboards, and underrated (IMHO.) The pros of the X5D ...

Ditto on being nervous about leaving the power supply plugged in.
The weakest link on this board is that dodgy power jack. Way
safer to pack a spare power supply and not stress the input
jack itsel ...

I've got two X-50s, and use a slightly-too large soft case
(lightweight) with some additional foam padding, and it
works great. The one I use for gigs is large enough that
the gigbag for my other l ...

Thanks for these! One small problem though..on the R3 download
page, the "Studio F Eminent" link brings up the "hypervoc" patch!

I've been gigging happily for over a year now with my
X-50. Bought a spare, because I wasn't convinced of
the road-worthiness of the unit, and I always travel
with spare power supplies...but have n ...

Meatball Fulton mentioned in another thread (Radias vs. R3) that
the Radias uses a headset mic. Being an R3 owner, I didn't know that.

I haven't explored the vocoding much on this synth yet. I had ...

I've successfully ordered them through Sweetwater Sound
online. It probably helps that the R3 uses the same
power supply - the more gear that uses this thing, the more
available they should be, I'd ...

LOVED the Jarre stuff. Smile Timely too - we just did a
Labor Day roadtrip in which both Equinoxe *and*
Oxygene were pretty much the entire soundtrack.
Perfect.

Thank you.
