It does add a nice textural possibilities to AL-1.

Dual filter capabilities in AL1 may as well be a hidden feature.
But the ...

In the OSC Mixer page:

AL-1 still keeps impressing me compared to my VSTs and also some very nice hardware synths I have. My only criticism of AL-1 is that the filter does not self oscillate without a stimulus (or am I do ...

Thanks Jack for all the work you put into this.
I'm listening now for the 2nd time to decide.

One suggestion, if I may -- more drum sample sets.
Kronos has some fairly good drum machine capabilit ...

But I wonder, if the Hydra accepts audio signals in through its CV inputs, can that audio in be from any type of audio source? For example, from like a mixer or PC?

Yes it can. Cool

Now look at the dedicated synth knobs.
Look how ADSR is switchable among pitch, filter, and amp. You would need 12 knobs instead of 4.
The Kronos Control Surface has 9 sliders and 8 knobs.
Plent ...

It's back up now, without the mixup.

Here are the patch names:

AL1 tb303 acid ditty
7 interruptus
7 nexus folding ...

I thought the Yamaha Superknob was a load of hype.
Notice most of their demos showed you can use the foot pedal for Superknob stuff.

You can use a Kronos/ Oasys foot pedal for the sam ...

My point was that you can't do much to make the existing Kronos control surface better. Sure, you can add a class compliant control surface, but even then, it will require substantial programming, an ...

Sure, you can supplement the missing tech with other tech.
That also applies to the Kronos.
It's easier to integrate new sounds and new sound engines to the Fantom (i.e. with an iPad or Surface Pro) ...

Correction.
The level of development is ...

It seems going the sampler route is the best way to access Z-plane with your own sounds.
