I want to get a set of nanokontrol knobs to use on my LPD8, since the Akai ones suck.

title says it all. even though arps are turned on, they won't trigger when using the VST inside of ableton live.

you're right, my bad.

typically I keep one synth channel to the EM1 for setting up quick grooves and basslines.. hence why I said one channel.

you can use the emx1 as a sound module if you want. the main advantage is being able to label the clips in abletom with words rather than the numbers on the EMX1. also you dont have to change patterns ...
