Not that hard to fix. I boot both my Kronos (original & Kronos 2) from 256GB drives.
How to:
- Remove original drive
- Clone
- Expand the user partition(s)
- Install the new drive
- Boot

Just putting it out here:
Never got the System V2 or System V3 dvds to complete on a 120GB drive.
Ended up cloning (and expanding) for both K1 och K2(SE) which worked flawlessly. Used Gparted.

Problem solved!
Turns out that KLM 3006 is different between 61 and 73/88.
I had gotten the wrong spare part. Rolling Eyes

I have had issues with my original Kronos 61. I have replace some parts and even updated the motherboard.
All seemed well, then I noticed that is thinks it is a 73, not a 61....? Rolling Eyes

It is very common that these joysticks fail to go back to center.
Solution replace the potentiometers or as I did, replace the entire joystick. Lots or spares out there.

The strength of Kronos is the sum of its parts plus sample streaming.

Not the individual parts, like addressable memory, etc.

This is the part that not many realise how advanced the Kronos act ...

Hi

It is best not to "wait for enabling technology" unless what is currently on the market cannot meet your needs. If a current day Kronos (full or LE) meets your needs then why wait?

interesting point here. I just found that my kronos 2 running OS 3.1.3 has already had it's firmware upgraded? odd!

had to pop out and pick up a replacement USB cable to do this? wasted good time. ...
