Thanks guys. I’ll get it today.

Roland does the same thing in their songbooks, never knew why as in th US you can’t copyright song titles. Didn’t know it was a thing in some countries.

Is that songbook update applicable for US PA-700s?

I’m new to Korg and just got the PA-700 so I’m a bit skittish.

Thanks

Fair enough. Training and documentation are well-known sources of customer satisfaction, and perhaps Casio fell down on those grounds.

Lack of tutorial videos is the #1 complaint on the Casio foru ...

Just a quickie about the Casio MZ-X500. The jury is in, it is going back. It has a lot to like and seems like it would most likely do everything I would want to do with it, IF I could figure out how ...

I will. I'm still in the early stages of learning with it and to evaluate whether I'll keep it or get a PA-600 or PA-700 instead. I'm on a time clock for doing that.

BTW, got the Krome 61 key yes ...

That's what I'll do. Either via a small mixer board I've got somewhere into a computer for some massaging, or straight into the Casio as a wav sample capture.

I decided that I wanted a pure workstation as well as the Casio arranger/workstation, so I ordered a Krome 61 key used off of Ebay, should get it sometime late next week.

In my research of the diff ...

The MZ-X500 sounds good, but has some real limitations (like modulation routings) when it comes to programming your own voices, and I don't think it's any easier to use / program than the BK-7m..... ...

OK, great! I like that you picked a direction and took the plunge.

The MZ-X500 is a pretty serious little monster. It's a development on the XW-P1 that I used to have. Nothing wrong with the XW- ...

If you're looking for a device that is really all about letting you set up your own arranger patterns from the ground up, the best that I'm aware of is actually from Casio.

I know, I know, Casio ...

Thanks.

The BK7M is an arranger, but it is not very good at on the fly changes. The most used way for it is to create a playlist and play from it, only sending keyboard strokes to it. Accordionis ...

Thanks a bunch!

After watching quite a few more videos, I think that for me to create a complete rhythmic style, I would need to do it in sequencer track by track, right?

Thanks for the feedback and opinions, appreciated.

I think it would only need one midi cable, out from the Krome to in on the BK since the BK would actually just be responding to whatever I wanted ...

I'm leaning towards the Krome because the BK7M can provide me plenty of things Roland and the Krome would give me some new/different things.

One thing I would like to be able to do is have a chord ...

I currently have a Roland BK7M backing module and I'm looking at either a workstation or arranger to couple to it. Initially I had though only of arrangers, but it has been suggested to me that a bet ...
