I would, generally, not gig without at least 2 'boards.

My tendency (being brought-up as a piano player)

is to use the full 88-note range of the keyboard..... as & when the urge takes me! - ...

I had a Triton LE (which I really liked) & moved on to the M50 - it's superior in every way.

I had this problem ONCE with my M50-88, about 1 month after I bought it (Dec 2008).

Serial No. is 550.

I use it a lot, virtually every day at home, & moving it around to rehearsals/gigs a ...

.....the stereo effect will just drown or make things sound weird for people close to the speakers at one side.

Leslie and other effects can sound better in stereo live.....

I have a Korg M-50 keyboard and a Roland KC-350 amp...

I doubt you'll get a *perfect* match, but you might try a matt black enamel paint.....

Why didn't you buy a CX-3 or a Hammond XK3c?

Those are the only things light/portable/affordable that will get that sound.

It's a shame that I will have to bring a $1800 laptop to rehearsals and gigs but can't do with Korg rompler organs.

$1800???..... Nord Electro, maybe?
