Problem solved.

I recently saw a little insignificant piece of plastic in my case, turns out it was a retaining pin on the heat sink for the processor on the motherboard.

Popped in a nylon screw ...

PostForum: Korg Kronos   Posted: Mon Apr 24, 2023 7:11 pm   Subject: KRONOS Fan Information
During a recent service of my 2011 Kronos, I decided to replace the fan as the factory unit was becoming progressively noisier. (Incidentally, the stock fan is rated for around 30,000 hours of use). L ...

Well, just my Kronos LS88 back from the shop with a brand new keybed! However, now I have around 24 keys that make a lovely clacking sound when released! Won't be an issue playing in the band, but in ...

I have a Kronos, not a Nautilus, so I can’t look at that exact patch, but the architecture of the synths is mostly identical. The SGX-2 engine is one of the EXi engines, and you can have a 1 or 2 EXi ...

What others have said here about the architectural differences is absolutely correct. It actually would be much easier to replicate original Wavestation sounds on a Kronos or Nautilus (and I think som ...

Yes, the foot pedal will do the same thing in Program mode and Combi mode (unless you disable it via MIDI filter). So you’ll need to assign it to modulate something in each program you want it to affe ...

Was worth a shot but still not it. With the tempo on external it is always looking for tempo from something else and that is expected. With the Auto, it only uses the tempo when it is coming in. It ...

It you have your pedal set to cc 04 in Global, then you just need to select it as an AMS source of the parameters you want to control for individual programs.

Can you expand on what you mean a bit more? KARMA should be generating note and control data that is recorded by the sequencer.

They are, indeed, real wood!

I had to replace one of them on my LS88, and I was able to source it by contacting https://instrumentalparts.com/ via their email address. It was a special order and to ...

I could be wrong, but I think it is “hard-wired” to be on in Program mode. The MIDI Filter only exists in Combi mode, as far as I know.

This may not be possible for you or a perfect solution, but if you can have anything transmitting a tempo via MIDI, then that will override the performance’s tempo (assuming you have clock source set ...
