I have to agree on the touch screen.
This is definitely the worst part of the M3m design.
An iPad controller would be a dream come true.

My screen always opens up to the last Combi or Program I was working on.
It never defaults to "Toward the Sun".
And I don't remember ever going into the menus to do that.
