This would be much easier with an arranger keyboard.
On TR, you have to make a COMBI, with a drum timbre assigned to an arpeggio; or in SEQ mode, with drum pattern playing.

Also, any patterns you create (user patterns) must be saved as part of the .sn ...

The user pattern U200 is empty in factory setting. You need to edit the arp yourself.
