I was also initially letdown that these new generation analogs weren't as thick as I wanted in order to supplement the Kronos. I had and sold an OB6 because of this reason.

Had the same problem while recording the DSI Tempest.
The analog signal sounded great while playing but the recorded audio on the Kronos appears to sound far less deep and fat.

Being there since 2002 and passed from Triton to Kronos forum. It is the most qualitative forum with expert tips about the Kronos.
