Personally I've sampled smaller things but it's hardly worth the bother (for me) to sample a VST sound. With all the velocity layers, creating correct loop points, redoing FX and still ending up with ...

If bang for the buck is a consideration, don't go for a laptop. Laptops with performance similar to desktops are way more expensive. Although laptops can also come with "i7" labeled CPUs, th ...

Doesn't really matter, the audio interface and the keyboard don't really "talk" in that sense. I have no experience with either interface though, maybe someone else can chime in.

Half guessing from what you want to do I would say Pete M is right, but you may be talking about a reversed reverb rather than a delay? You would get, in reverse, a swelling reverb sound first, ending ...

For 100 bucks and universal support it's kind of in competition with Cantabile. I wonder how it stacks up. May I ask what your experiences with Mainstsge are? I used it years ago but really liked it.

I'm not sure "quality" is the only answer. Korg only supplies what they have tested extensively with the Kronos, and will cover you if there is a problem. Some folks get past boot but get mi ...

You don't get the extra .25GB.
I'd recommend getting it done by Korg despite the added cost, there have been lots of people who ended up with unstable performance over the years through DIY. I've bui ...
